GB Team Selections 2005

Congratulations to you both


Three County of London Fullbore Rifle Team members have been selected to represent their countries at the 2002 Commonwealth Games from 25th July to 4th August.

Congratulations and good luck from all your team mates.


Congratulations to Alice Ogilvie on being selected as part of the two person team for Scotland to shoot in the Commonwealth Federation Games in New Zealand and on coming 4th in the team event and 10th in the Queens Prize.


1999 Imperial Meeting

We had representatives in all four Home Countries in the National Match. Congratulations to Nick Brasier who represented England and got top score with 105.18 and to Lucy Summers who was reserve. Also to Matt Charlton (Coach) and Alice Ogilvie and Jamie Carswell who shot for Scotland. Gaby O'Leary who shot for Wales and Peter Barry who shot for Ireland.

The following shots reached the Queens Final, Nick Brasier, who finished highest of the London representatives, Gaby O'Leary, Guy van Koetsveld, Will Dixon, Alice Ogilvie, Ginney Measures and Tim Green.

Of the Individual results, Alice Ogilvie won both the Gurkha Appeal and Amazons, Gaby O'Leary the Imp, Jamie Carswell the Daily Telegraph, Nigel Cole-Hawkins the Corporation and Will Dixon the Conan Doyle after a tie shoot.

Congratulation to Will Dixon who travelled with the English XX team to take part in the Rocky Mountain Palma Matches in Ratton, New Mexico, shooting well in both the team and individual events. He came 2nd overall in the Individual event.


Congratulations to Gaby O'Leary who won the Grand aggregate in Jersey in May with a score of 401 ex 405. She also managed to go "clean" on the middle Sunday of the English XX Meeting with 225 ex 225


Congratulations to Jamie Carswell on top scoring in the winning Scoland team with a score of 105.11 during the RAF National Match at Bisley on 16th May 1999


Congratulations to Nick Brasier on winning the Greater London and SE Region heat of the Champion of Champions. He represented the Region in the Final in July, coming 4th


Congratulations to Alice Ogilvie on winning the 1999 Easter Clubs Meeting Grand Aggregate and several other competitions on the way.


Our best wishes and good luck to last year's Captain, Michael Walton who is a member of the Great Britain Palma World Championship squad visiting South Africa to attempt to win the 1999 Palma Trophy for the third successive time.
